In Memoriam to James Eterno

James Eterno passed from us on February 6, 2024.

He was a longtime leader in New Action and served with many of us in campaigns on behalf of UFT members. Although James left New Action he remained an ardent trade unionist; he served as a mentor to many and was involved in a profound way fighting the many battles facing the rank and file, specifically playing a leading role against the closing of schools. His wisdom and guidance will be sorely missed.
