Once again Bloomberg’s hand-picked Panel for Education Policy is voting to close many schools, threatening to disrupt education for thousands of students and swell the ATR pool…

Once again the community and the UFT are fighting back…

Demonstrate your opposition!  Demonstrate your outrage!

Demonstrate at the PEP meeting, February 1, Tuesday, at Brooklyn Tech (take any train to Atlantic or Pacific Street). Demonstration starts at 4PM. Meeting begins at 6. Anyone can speak, but you must sign up before the meeting.  Here’s the flyer.

Demonstrate January 27, Thursday, the plaza between Tweed, City Hall, and the Brooklyn Bridge. 4:30. (Sponsored by an Ad Hoc Cttee, GEM, NYCORE, et al).

Sign the petition…STOP EDUCATIONAL NEGLECT…  Everyone in your school should sign… and your Chapter Leader should turn them in (soon please!) to the District Rep. It’s the easiest thing to do, and everyone should.  Here’s the petition you can print out and have your colleagues sign. And here’s an on-line version, but the collective printed one is a better option.
